Dave456 said,

My version number for SE_CLMediaDetect.dll is 1.1.0.6104 found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyberlink\PowerDirector\runtime\SEditorX, maybe the dll file needs registered in Windows??

That's interesting, On my laptop I have PDR8 Build 3022, which is the latest build, yet, my version No. for SE_CLMediaDetect.dll is 1.1.0.6024 dated 7/01/2010, could you check your version number again please Dave456.

It just seems strange to have 2 different versions of the .dll if the builds are the same, maybe that is the issue, only CyberLink R & D can advise on that.

Hi Robert,

I thought you had something...

I changed my .dll to 6024 and still get the error. I think Dave meant 6014 not 6104 - I had 6014 in my first post and now I can't find it.

I also get a second error from ntdll.dll.

This is crazy!

I am now running 6024... can't find 6014 in previous revs, and even though I reinstalled the 3022 patch. I would think that 6024 is a newer version than 6014... and 6024 should be the one to use.

Also, on two tries I was able to enter the produce screen and actually produce a .wmv. On many tries after that I could not..

I am going to do a complete un-install and re-install and see what rev I get for SE_CLMediaDetect.dll

Bill

PS. Does antone/everyone use ffdshow??? I have tried withit and without it when I'm sometimes asked by PD.

Well mine is now 6024...I couldn't find the other one, unless I made a very serious typo, which I doubt...
