That is a well thought out explanation. Could you just clarify the part after "Barry"? HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Barry,
Did your schooling really stop at simple sentences? I thought my points were made with logic, clarity and conciseness that pointed out that there are alternative views of the world. Perhaps the whole design of PD is an allegorical illustration of the highs and lows of our time on this earth before we progress to our next existence. Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated. (see below)

To get back to the original topic. KRANSKY-me-boy! You've just put in words EXACTLY why I have taken this program out 50 times or more. If they could somehow overcome that flaw in their thought-process and recode something, THEN this would be a truly awesome NLE. Until then...
5 STARZ for the kranky baby!

There has to be a gap in the track, before the clip, to extend it forward.

If there is no existing gap, and you are just adjusting your file, be it video or an image, then to CREATE that gap, without destroying the time-line after it, you have to highlite EVERYTHING after, move it, adjust your clip, then close any remaining gaps, and hope to heck you got it like you want it the first time. Am I not getting this correct? HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
