I had a look at you dxdiag and your notebook graphics card is pretty low powered and if the videos are HD, that is, 1280X720 or 1920X1080 you are not likely to get a good result with such a low powered notebook.

EDIT====It may not be a notebook as there appears to be two types of Radeon X600 video cards.

Honestly I think you may have to get an extension on your 12 hours and maybe
you could try cutting your project in half produce the two halves then combine them for the final product.

Editing video is about the most stressful thing you can throw at a computer.

Others may chime in with more suggestions. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Cheers

I just saw you said there were a lot of cross fades. One last suggestion is open your project saved it under a new name, take out all of the cross fades and try again. It may help it may not but the more complicated you make your video the harder it will be for your computer to produce it.

Cheers

Thanks for the PDS file, but we need to see a video clip...Like Ryan Skating or Ryan Skiing or Ryan cheri.......straight from the drive, not in Powerdirector.

Robert is correct on the problem with too many cross-fades..I don't use them, but others will start chiming in now that you are attaching the files we need...HANG IN THERE!!

Ok so Let me ask you guys this before I start hacking away at this video. I exported the thing as low as I could, it was only like 75mb. shouldn't that have made it even better than if I would have sized down the HD video by removing the Fades? The Legendary Shaules...

.I don't want something AFTER it is in Powerdirector..I want it before...Do you have one of the files named above??

No need to beg..just need to be patient. We all understand stress!!

I know you are tired so first off make sure you save your project to a new name to take out the fades so you can go back to the original later if taking out the fades doesn't help.

Producing the video to a lower resolution or bitrate will make it easier on your computer but making your computer work out the precise way to fade multiple clips will make it even harder than producing it to a certain size.

I had a look at your .wmv Bob Ryan beach video. It is very low quality and not raw footage out of a camera. Has this been worked on before you imported it into PD?

Did you do the video driver update???
Make a restore point before you install the new drivers. There is a link to a post with restore Point instructions in my signature.

TOO late brother. done and done with the drivers... The Legendary Shaules...

Well 2005 video drivers will not process those videos. So if done and done means you prefer not to do the update..then I can't really help much..
If not they are HERE:

EDIT: If done and done means you DID them..then Great we continue know this part of the issue is removed!!!

Place 2 video files and one cross fade in a new project (saving the one with all your work)..then try to produce that!

the clip with 2 movies and a crossfade worked fine. The Legendary Shaules...

SO wait..are you thinking the video driver helped??

What I suggest is that you add a few elements to this new temporary project (like MP3's and jpgs) and try to produce it again...no need to post the resulting files here...just seeing when it fails on your machine...

Adding a little at a time to try and determine the source of the failure.

Also, edit your post above and remove the large file (produce.mp4, ok? It slows the post down.

EDIT:
Or conversely, start removing elements from the large project and attempt production.

It sound more and more like you computer is being pushed beyond its limit. Have you tried cutting your video in half or even thirds or taken out the fades yet. My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

Im not sure to be honest. The ting is. Here, at home i have a 8 year old PC, at work I have access to about 30 5000 macs and none of them would play it past 3.34. so does that means it could be a write problem even though the produced file says its 13.2 gb? Because if those computers wont play it then...nothing will...
And yes ill do that now. The Legendary Shaules...
