Installing PowerDirector 8 on Windows 7 64 bit computer

After closing the application it finished installing,up to diag box where "Finish" is the only option.

It then proceeded to crash as per original posts and print screens.

This is an issue for Tech Support rather than here.

The contents pack may have a problem and you should ask for a new download.

The nature of the problem is not one that has been posted on here previously.

You haven't mentioned the build version you have started out with for PD8, before you applied the patch. Tell support what actions and what you have purchased etc.
