Hello,

When I try to convert a 2D video to 3D the sides of the video are cropped off, so basically the 3D looks rubbish. I want to know if this will be fixed, if there is a simple way around it or if that is just how the 3D looks.

Any reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

So far that's what I see the 2D to 3D does.... Don't really know why it dos it... but it does..... I am sure it from shifting the image. But you can still resize it to fit the way you want it...

I did a few photo conversions today that actually worked pretty good. I used the snipping tool app to capture them after I previewed them in the media viewer in full HD preview and full screen.

I am not sure if that can be avoided. If you use a 2D footage to create 3D footage, maybe you have to shift the footage to generate the 3D depth. And I think that this cannot be done at the left and right edge. Kind regards,

Thank you both for your replies.

I was just thinking that maybe it's because to gain the 3D image, the program has to 'merge' each side of it together, hense the sides being slightly cut off...

If that is the case, and it's always like that, I won't make this video 3D. It's 24 minutes long and most of that consists of 'less-than-one-second' clips, as it is mostly a music video with some dialogue in between each section.

I might for my next video though, as then I can do it from the start.

Again, thank you both for your replies. http://www.youtube.com/user/TrulyinFAMOUSProUK?feature=mhee
