Dear Support,

Could you help me?

When PowerDirector (version: 9.0.0.2330) imports a new file type, PowerDirector requires to activate related component (e.g. MPEG2 component when import *.MTS files). Activation requires internet connection, my computer maybe in the trip and internet connection is not always available. Is it possible to activate ALL components in SINGLE time (i.e. before the trip)?

If you put one video each with the extensions you use on the timeline then produce, then activate format with pop up for each video, you can activate each one while you are connected to the internet.

Once the formats are activated, you never have to do it again.

The videos do not have to be long, 5 to 10 seconds is plenty.

Warning, there seems to be a 30 day time limit to when you can activate.

There is a newer build for PD 9 build 3305.

Read this FAQ answer from Cyberlink.

http://www.cyberlink.com/prog/support/cs/product-faq-content.do?id=12834&prodId=4&prodVerId=930

The components that must be activated are:
MPEG2, H.264 file and burning DVD/AVCHD/Blu-ray Disc

Since I long ago activated my PD9 components, I do not remember the sequence that I activated the components.
I do remember each time I went to produce some formats the component activation window popped up. I just clicked yes, all done.

I would try the sample files on the timeline then go to produce, and in turn produce each one of the above formats.
The Burning is easy with the sample files, just go to create disk and burn a folder only. Activate when asked.

So you can activate pretty quick.
