Hi,
I have just completed a DVD project for a friends wedding and created all my own graphics (bragging). Now I want to know if you can create your own high lite for my own object? Is there a specific size for these?
Jim
p.s. Using Xara Graphic Designer Pro and Photo Paint X3, Power Director 10 Ultra 1012 build.

Could you explain what you mean by "high lite"? Jerry Schwartz

Hi,
when you create disk and customize or create your own menu. In the Chapter/Title screen for menu the objects for the chapters have a hi-lite (when you select them) so as you know they are selected.

Yes, there is a specific size.

I do not know where they are stored in PD 10.

I have the 64 bit version of PD 9 Ultra in Windows 7 64 bit.

They are in a folder of one of these menus in PD9. (I do not know where the custom menus are)
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus

For the Broadway menu the highlight is here in PD9:
C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDirector\Menus\Broadway\highlight

GStarfiretextHL.png found in the above folder is 30x30 pixels.
There is also a XML file for the highlight.

The XML file is what produces the highlight. The png is the mask (I think).

You will have to experiment.

You can experiment with this PD7 guide, it essentially shows you the size required for the buttom frame, button mask, and highlight. http://www.cyberlink.com/stat/product-tutorial/enu/powerdirector/7/menudesigntips.jsp
