Hello Robert,

I've not tried to do this with PhotoDirector, so I must assume it functions in the same way as other CyberLink products I use.

When you've installed toe software on your new PC & it's connected to the internet, you should be able to activate it by applying your original CD key. Have you tried this?

I have the same problem how did you get round it I cannot find anywhere to put it do you have let the trial period run out.

No
I just took out the trial version from the new machine. Full de-install. A found a link on another Cyberlink forum that explain how to do this
I keep my download on my previous computer that I put on a USB key . Put it in the new computer
Install it in the new machine and use my original activation key with the instruction from the Email I receive at that time
Work perfectly.

I have not downloaded the free trial but was just going to purchase the programme as a full download. I have one question though, if I change my computer or this one crashes, can I download the full programme again or do I have to pay again. Sorry if this is a silly question, but I really dont understand the techno side of things very well

You do not have to pay again cyberlink will send you a new download but you must remove all traces of the old one.

Gary -

The simplest thing to do is to keep the installer file you download, and any patches that are released.

You can then transfer the installer files to your new PC, without the need to download again.

Sorry, I'm being completely annoying. I'm in a similar boat, only my case seems slightly less hopeful. I bought Power Director over a year ago as a download. I've just changed my PC and I've lost the installer files and well, everything. I'm sure there is a way to re-download it but I have absolutely NO idea what my "order number" is. It was a long time ago. Can I get it back?
