MPEG 4 Videos Flashes in preview

When I import and play Mpeg 4 videos in the preview screen the noise in the video gets greater and the goes to normal repeatedly cycling . When i produce the resulting footage does not have this affect. When i preview the raw footage with other players this doesn't happen either. Only when the footage is played from the timeline

when i switch to non reel time preview the problem goes away also

Maybe its a conflict
issue with my sanyo video camera because it only happens with footage shot in low light

Or maybe your Video card can not keep up.

Sometimes lowering the preview resolution will help. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Thanks I tried that, you might be right . I am going to try to use shadow files because the lower light footage may tax it more. When i preview the footage from the file area its fine only flashes when playing from the time line
