Can anyone tell me if the Deluxe will work fine on my 64bit system, that is the only reason I would get the Ultra because I will not be doing any 3d work

Thanks

Deluxe is only 32BIT. To take advantage of extra memory and processing power available in a 64BIT machine, ultra is needed.

Please post a DXDIAG file and we will look at your specs to make sure this is recommended. See PART B on the link below for instructions:

Deluxe is 32 bit only, it will run on your 64 bit system, but will be slower.

What do you mean extra memory (like you can make longer videos?) and slower? It will render slower or respond slower? And is it a really noticeable difference?

A 32 bit system can use only a max of 4 GB of RAM.

A 64 bit system can use the Maximum the motherboard supports, in some cases 16 GB.

The Ultra version is 64 bit on a 64 bit system, 8 GB of RAM seems to be the sweet spot for many systems.

It does make a big difference on the way Powerdirector works.
Ultra is faster than Deluxe because of the difference between 32 bit program and 64 bit program.

Not to mention the Blu-Ray burning and AVCHD disk capability. Which Deluxe does not have.
Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.
