Moderator tells me - in a quite understandable way I should point out:

Nina, This is a forum for PowerDirector and while I have made a request for other forum topics etc it is not what CyberLink want. I can only suggest you start your own forum (this isn't intended to be hurtful) and run it. There are many such video forums on the net already. The forums here are as you say, more technical and have been run as such since conception. They will continue to be so. Please try and answer the "technical" questions.

I'm thinking; Ok, it's a pity, but ok.

But then, in a follow-up post, moderator says:

The purpose of the DZ forums are in the topic titles and that has been overlooked. The DZ forum is for DZ issues and should not be used for any other purposes.

The forum here are more than capable of handling "How to" questions and answers and has the facilities to host attachments, the DZ does not. New editors should be directed to the main forum here and not vice-versa.

I take it. then, that this means- as earlier said- technical how to's?
