Hello again-

I am adding some music to my slideshow and there's one song where it is loud at the beginning, then goes silence for 30 seconds, then it goes loud again. I want to cut out the silence part. I'm trying to put the marker at the position and deleting, but I'm deleting the beginning and end and NOT the middle like I want. I have the feeling I'm not putting the markers in the right way.

Could someone explain to me step by step how to do this? Thank you so much. Intel i930 (4x 2.80ghz), 12 gb Corsair Dominator DDR3 ram, 1.5gb Nvidia GTX480, Asus P6t mb, 850w XFX PSu, Windows 7 HP

Hi

Try these:

1. Produce your slideshow with your music file

2. Open a mew project

3. Import previous mention slideshow AND music file

4. Place produced slideshow in storyboard AND mute.

5. Add music file in music track

6. Use the Split button when the music track is highlighted to remove sections of the music OR click on the sound wave and lower volume.

7. Produce slideshow again Happing editing

It's just me, but I would edit my audio on an outside software, such as Audacity, which is a free download, then when happy with the audio, import it to your project and work from there. But that's just me! Saving the world, one goofy video and meme at a time.
