Let's say I drag several small clips on a video timeline and then want to edit them in the PIP window. I noticed that if the clip is SPLIT, anything I do only pertains to the first clip. Example: I sized a clip in the PIP and it played at that size, only when it went to the next clip on the same timeline the size was different.

I tried to GROUP the small clips that are on the same timeline, but the sizing of the PIP in the preview window only applys to the first clip. I can't find the APPLY to all function when doing this.

Thanks though.

Hi Ralph -

There are quite a few aspects of editing in PD where you can "Apply to All". As far as I know, resizing different clips isn't one of them.

Whenever I've done that, each clip has needed to be resized separately.

If you find a way to do it, could you let us know? I could do with a way around it too!

Cheers - Tony

Tony,

Thanks for responding. I put together a montage (20 clips) on one video track and then wanted to put the entire piece together in PIP. This even becomes an issue if you have one file but SPLIT it.

I guess the easiest way would be to PRODUCE the montage and then go back and import it as one complete file.

If I do find out an easier way, I'll be sure to let you know!

Thanks!

Ralph
