I recently "lost" my downloaded copy of PowerDVD11 Ultra because of a drive (and backup) failure. Tech support provided me a download link quickly after sending proof of purchase. I was able to upgrade because I had purchased media for version 9 ultra because I had activated too often (I'm in IT and change PCs often.) and was given a number to call. The support agent took my order for the media--I think it was 19.95 or 29.95.

I inquired how to buy media for version 11 and was referred back to the Digital River page which doesn't seem to apply. There are no numbers for Cyberlink or Digital River to be found any longer. Now I seen that you can by a backup disc, but only with a new order, and it's not clear that the backup disc contain a key.

Is there a number I can call or a web page that will let me give proof or purchase and buy the media?

As you have purchased an upgrade to PDVD 11, if you go to your membership zone and looking to purchase a CD, then you can only purchase CD for "Upgrade to PowerDVD 11".

If you want to purchase a full version of PDVD 11, then you need to buy a fresh copy.

I suggest you to burn both your PDVD 9 and 'upgrade to 11' on CD, so that you can use the same for future purchase.

Rest, I suggest you to confirm the same from tech support.

The reason for "full" media would be if a future operating system would not let me install version 9 and then go forward.

PowerDVD 11 requires online activation. when you install the software it requires CyberLink server to authenticate your CD-Key.

Also, I believe PDVD 9 is compatible with latest OS i.e. Win 7 and I don't think that this will give you any challenge while installing.
