Update new patch make problem

Hi all,
I downloded the latest update of PD9 and this file
install the PD9 and now don't accept my Activation Key.
more than that, now i can't make changes in the Wave editor
beacause i don't have the premission

What is going on here??

If you've just re-installed PD9 - not just applied the patch (2930) - you need to:

1. Uninstall PD, SmartSound, Wave Editor & PhotoNow
2. Re-install them
3. Apply your activation key
4. Install the latest patch.

There is one other possible problem if WaveEditor won't install. Somewhere in these forums is an explanation of what to do - some searching should find it.

Sometimes a Windows Media Player file that's needed isn't found by the installer and it gives up without a message. The explanation tells what to change in an installation configuration file to see the reason the installation failed. If it's the missing WMP file, it is an easy fix and is also explained in the same thread.

As for the activation key - it appears it is only acceptable with the initial PD version so after (re)installation but before any updates, activate PD; after that's successful you can then apply the latest update (it contains all previous changes as well as the latest).

the strange thing is that the update reinstall the PD9 without any questions..
i'm trying to do what you suggested. with god help i hope it will be OK
