I'm Very happy to now be an officially registered user of PD9. One of the selling points to me was this Forum. I've been pecking away with questions the last few days as I gave PD9 a thorough going-over before making my purchasing decision. It's great to see this Forum is active, and with knowledgeable users. It gives a new user a nice sense of security, to see that there's a place to go when issues come up. THANK YOU all for the help you've posted.

My installation went OK just now, but there was this message:

"A -43 error occurred while trying to prepare the following music files:

C\ProgramData\SmartSoundSoftwareInc\SoundFiles\BluesToGo 22k.sds
and also
NewVistas 22k.sds.

These files will be skipped at this time."

I guess it's not the end of the world. Two of those Smart Sound music files didn't install, but I doubt if I'll ever be using canned music anyway - But to have a complete program, naturally I still hope the Smart Sound sub-program still functions. I'll find out.

Anyone have feedback about that install error?
