I have made a few completed projects now, but am stll finding my way around the mighty PD6 (with latest patch).
On one of my first projects I had video interspursed with jpegs and a music sound track running for the duration. I applied Magic Motion to the jpegs ansd it all looked great.
I have just started a new project and intend to have video and jpegs, but this time I cannot get the Magic motion to stick. The Magic motion window appears, I have tried applying zoom, pan and zoom etc; tried auto and manual focus but still nothing works. When I preview the image (output)- the first time the jpeg appears unchanged. If I preview again, the viewing window is greyed out, but the time pointer moves as thought it is all working. I click apply and the image on the time line gets the little (magic motion) flag on it. But it views as a still image with no motion.
I even went back to the script for one of my earlier projects that did apply magic motion and that worked just fine!
I'm buggered if I can figure what's going on.
Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance

OK, so I read throught the other enreries and did the standard thing : reinstall the software.
All seems ok now.
Well , as stable as ever, which seems dependant on what the weather is doing - or how many eggs my hens have laid.
Any way, anyone else having issues should try the reinstall thing - it worked for me.

p.s. I don't have any hens. Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

PS... Maran's lay chocolate brown eggs... but aren't as prolific as Warren's (light brown coloured) which are the commercial breed used in the UK...they lay 300+ a year. The Maran's lay about 150 eggs and the eggs are small considering the size of the speckled grey bird. I thought you'd like the extra information as you might one day want to keep chickens and have some of your own eggs

I don't have chickens any more.......... before you ask.
