Remove Clips From Library Saves Timeline?

If I remove clips from Library does that affect my Timeline?
I am doing a one hour video and the Library gets crowded so I want to make room for new clips to add to the Timeline; so I want to remove my entire library. Is this OK to do? I won't loose any of my work already done in my Timeline?

If you start a project the library has been cleaned.
If you take a project to create another, delete everything that will not need to use this.
The delete only removes the link from the library, the files still in the source folder.
For this, Roon Media Library (F3)

Projects saved in file "name." Pds in a folder, too, the original video files, photo and audio in the source folders.

when you open the project in PD it will get the files automatically
