Adjust volume to grouped clips

Forgive me I am new to this and this may be covered elsewhere.
I am really struggling with PD9 having come from the very intuitive Studio software. Almost without exception everything I have tried to do I have had to google. Getting a little exhausted with it tbh.

Simple problem. Multiple clips which I have grouped (no merge option??) and am trying to adjust the audio level universally. Tell me I do not have to adjust the level on each clip individually. If so this will have to go in the bin. It would take forever. In Studio - simple merge clips and then adjust the slider which it then applied to the whole merged clips.
I want to bring down the audio track and have music in the background. Audio mixing room doesn't seem to help.

Thanks
Rog

Hi Rog

Welcome to the forum

If all your clips are on the master video track (top one), use shift and highlight ALL the clips - the edges turn blue.

Then go to Audio Mixing Room > Video > use the Master audio gain (the volume slider at the bottom - the small horizontal one - NOT the rather larger vertical one.

Use this to adjust the volume to all clips.

Happy editing Happing editing

Best Regards

Neil

Excelent - thanks. Of course, so simple. My experience so far is that whilst it can take a while to figure things out (I cheated and asked on this topic after exhausting my will on sorting something in magic motion) PD will generally do everything you want it to. Rog

I have come across an issue with this. Whilst I can adjust the volume across the entire movie (which is what I wanted to do in the last project) I cannot it seems adjust this across just selected clips (which is now what I want to do!) CubbyHouseFilms post implies this is possible but when I select a number of clips and adjust volume using Audio mixing room this adjusts volume for entire movie.
Thanks
