Will not open anything...crashes...not avi, flv, mpeg2, No error code, just a message from windows saying the progam has stopped working.

This is a clean install of windows 7. In vlc it plays all the files I have. Quickly and well.

So, what is wrong with your program?

Please don't suggest that I post huge crash log files or install some weird 3rd party codec pack, because I shouldn't have to for a program meant to simply play media files.

This is the trial version.

Biff? That's not my profile.

You have not requested any information at all, so what do I post? There's some sort of qualifying requirement for getting help here? Nice. Very welcoming.

Based on that response, you can forget it. Removing the software today. You and your 'exclusive' community and software have no place on my system.

NO SALE!

hello biff,

yes, all those info, if you could provide them, could help the community figure out what is causing the problem because many of us have working pdvd11.

there are no specific format required because your response won't be machine read.

you can do it this way:

power dvd full version - no
power dvd trial version - yes - version 11.x.xxxx.xx (of course you have to put the actual version)
power dvd sr number - dvd11xxxx-xx
power dvd tr number - tr11xxxx-xxx
operating system - win7 64bit

etc...

welcome to the forums.

regards!
