I use PowerDVD11 on my HTPC with ASUS ENGT520 video card ( nVidia GT 520 , 1GB DDR3 , 48 CUDA cores) . When I want to use the True Theatre HD with my DVD I can't select from settings page the "Enable nVidia CUDA" feature and the PowerDVD use only my processor (about 50% - Athlon X2 5600+) .
On another computer with nVidia 8800 GT , I can select "Enable nVidia CUDA" with True Theatre HD without any problem . I put in my attachments 2 png. files that show my problem . So, the PowerDVD don't support CUDA cores from nVidia GT 520 chipset ?? . I must mention that on start up page of PowerDVD appear the nVidia CUDA logo on both systems .

Hi,

for the HTPC I see some issues:

1. not any PowerDVD codec is registered - looks if installation is not correctly
2. There are some not certified drivers installed

please help to list which third party tools and codec packs you have installed on the HTPC

I don't know why on my HTPC system cyberlink's codecs aren't registered , because it's a fresh windows 7 install with only necesary drivers , Cyberlink PowerDVD 11 trial , DVBWiever , Boxee , Norton Internes Security installed and no other third party codecs . The driver that appear with problem(without Microsoft signature) it's ASUS XONAR audio card driver from their site and works without any problems . On my DESKTOP system I have installed both PowerDVD 10(with license) and PowerDVD 11 trial , thats why in DxDiag appears Cylerlink codecs (PDVD10) .
By the way , I installed Arcsoft Total Theatre 5 and guess what !!!!! , their upscaling technology (SimHD) works great and use my GT520 CUDA Cores (see attachments) .
SO I MUST FORGOT THAT POWERDVD11 EXIST AND GO TO ARCSOFT INSTEAD .
