Hi,
I ordered a new computer which I pick up Saturday 7 May. I e-mailed Cyberlink support but being a weekend don't expect an answer for awhile.
Can I re-instal my copy of PowerDirecter 9 Ultra to new computer Windows 7 Premium 64 bit and re register?

Jim: You should be able to activate again. I know that CL has a limit on reactivations, but I don't know what it is and I am sure that Dafydd can't say. In any event, if you have purchased the software and have your order number, CL Tech Support will find a way to let you activate. I am sure that you can do at least twice - I have.

Enjoy your new computer. Have a great day.

Thanks
One thing I would like to add is that I e-mailed cyberlink of my situation just prior to posting this message and didn't expect an answer til next week....by 5:00pm I recieved an e-mail with instructions where to get the program and unlock key.
GREAT SERVICE in my opinion.

Yes, sometimes CL Tech Support does shine. I had one dealing with them over PD9 and waited a week for a nonsensical response. Last week, I contacted them about a problem with PowerDVD 10 and they responded within a day with a response which solved my problem. But then, I could find no way to quickly and easily thank them, short of opening another ticket.

So, perhaps efforts are being made by CL to improve their Technical Support, which would be a welcome development, given the many complaints one reads on this forum and others.

Have a great day.
