h.264 format

I have a series of HQ slides that when I want to render in h.264 format it brings up the 720x480 profile. This produces a fuzzy slide show. There are no other profile options.

Is there a place to download a profile for higher values up to 1920x1080?

I presume you are working in 4:3 - more profiles are available if you work in 16:9.

Good to see you Kevin.

I found out the hard way that Adrian may have your answer. If your project is 4:3 the HD options will not be available. Change the project to 16:9 and all profiles should be available. That is assuming you have the version of PD that does HD.

If your project is already 16:9, then continue on with the next post. __________________________________

Adrian, yes clicking on the 16:9 format did open up other opportunities.

Rendering in wide screen for h.264 at 1920x1080 produced an excellent quality slide show. However the file size was 50 meg.

Rendering in WMV Full HD 1920x1080 produces the same quality but the file size is only 17 megs. So a better deal for me.

Thanks for all the help.
