Playing m2ts Power Director videos via SD card on a TV

I have been experimenting with transferring my movies to my Widescreen TV (Panasonic) via SD card.
Was wondering if anyone had any experience.

Here is what I have found.
If I take m2ts files straight off my camera and process them with the popular Multiavchd program then I have no problem. I can also simply take the m2ts files and copy them direct into the appropriate folder on the SD card. All OK.

However, if I create a movie from my camera files and produce it via Power Director as a m2ts (H.264) and use Multiavchd I have no success. The problem is that tsmuxer does not recognise the m2ts file out of Power Director as a valid file.
I have also tried copying direct into the Sd card folder in which case the Panasonic TV also refuses to recognise the file as valid.

So what does Power Director do inside m2ts files that makes them invalid in the eyes of both Panasonic and the open source video community?

1. You need to tell us what type of camera you are using and the type of file you are producing with it.

2. Please advise which PROFILE is being used in PD9 to generate the m2ts file.

3. Please check the specs of your TV as to what the properties of the m2ts file it can play back. Win 10, i7
