All blurays are unsuported disc on PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II

Hi,

I've been playing blu ray discs with no problem for about 6 mounts with PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II with both my desktop and my laptop. For about 2 weeks now every time I load any blu ray disc on any of my PCs it says that "There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive E:". First I reinstalled the program and installed the last patch, no luck. Second I reinstalled all drivers related (chipset, video card, bluray player, etc.) still no luck. Then I tried to uninstall Kaspersky since it's on both computers. No luck. If it would be only on a computer I would reinstall windows or consider that it may be my bluray drive that is failing. But since it's on both computer I'm pretty sure it's software related. Have anyone experienced something similar to this.

Latest Version of PowerDVD 10 (in Cinema Mode) doesn't works with Blu-Rays and AnyDVDHD. Strangely works when in Normal Mode (Normal Player Interface). Seems to be very different Programs

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I'm in normal mode and it still doesn't work.

I installed the 3/7 patch for PowerDVD Ultra and I get the unsupported disk message for all blu-ray disks. I reinstalled the 1/5 patch and the blu-ray disks play fine. There is obviously something wrong with the latest patch and it's support of blu-ray disks.

i'm using virtual clone drive in wmc. It always happens in Cinema mode inside WMC and outside WMC. I turned on CINEMA Mode inside cyberlink itself and got the unsupported disk message with a blu-ray iso.

How am i suppose to play isos from a server? This is the reason why I purchased and used PowerDVD and you broke it in the latest patch! IF this is not fixed soon I will have to give up on PowerDVD and go to TMT 5 for doing this.

Same problem here. It will no longer play Blu Ray ISOs with the latest patch (worked fine before). DVD ISOs seem to still work okay but I don't generally use them. I am still able to play Blu Ray directly from the discs. I prefer to play everything through WMC without the hassle of putting discs in.

I have updated to new patch and i have the same problem as described above. In normal mode, the PowerDVD works fine. In Cinema mode is not working. Please help again.

Wow I am amazed that actually caught this thread and it matches my problem!
http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/16384.page

I agree the classic mode and AnyDVD HD seem to work ok. The cinema mode of 2701 and AnyDVD HD fails.

I am really starting to wonder what else is different with cinema mode since I have the most issues using that version of the software.

Hi,
The next patch should include a solution for this issue.

I' am not sure when it will be released but should be not so far away

Latest Patch didn't fix this issue. Still have the same problem. Blu-ray ISO images mounted using Virtual Clonedrive fail to play under cinema mode in WMC. AnyDVD enabled/disabled doesn't matter.
DVD ISO's play fine. Both DVD and Blu-ray play fine outside of cinema mode. It is ONLY cinema mode that has this issue.
Was working well previously.

Also have TMT 5 on this same system and it hasn't missed a beat. Starting to wonder if PowerDVD was a good choice!
