Can V9 work on Linux?
[Post New]
I am getting extremely sick of Microsoft software on my computer as it keeps corrupting the hard drive and refusing other software to work. All I can do is keep recovering the computer which is annoying. So I am looking at using Linux(Ubuntu) instead and would like to know if PowerDirector9 will work on Linux.

You might get it running through WINE, but it is highly...HIGHLY... unlikely. If you do, let me know. I would be interested in that. __________________________________

Must be something other than Microsoft. Very frustrated with that mob.

Hmmmmmm.... I have ran Linuix for years. On my servers. Only now I no longer need servers. (thank goodness) You can cry about MS all you want, but the sad fact is.... all the really neat stuff is made primarily for Microsoft OS.

I just wish that Linux had taken off 20 years ago like everyone said it was going to do. And didn't. I still have one computer stored out in the garage with linux in it. (Ubuntu)

Been using MS since DOS1, before that Unix. (programming your own software by hand) I never seem to have the issues some people seem to have.

Almost forgot.... when I have a choice, I will go for an open source program first.
