I have Power Director 9 build 2702 ultra and when i try to create blu-ray movie and burn it to BD-RE disc burning stops at 95% giving error code eEB190E87.Authoring(converting) is fine goes without problem to 100% and when it's start burning always give error on 95%.
I have latest video graphic driver, latest firmware for blu-ray burner etc.
I tried to disable function Hardware decoding but nothing helps.
I tried to find what this error means but i can't find it.
I am using BD-RE Discs and when i am using other software(Xilisoft) converting and burning is fine so that means that i don't have problem with my burner.
Please if somebody have or had same problem and is fixed somehow send me some guide how to fix it,program Power producer is verz fine and i am very frustrated when i can't use it.

I am sorry,i forget to upload my dx.diag so i did it now. :

Hello, Cuca. I am just a newbie, but there have been many reports of these errors. Many of the pros use other burning software because of problems encountered with PD9. You might try reducing your burn speed.

Most of the pros seem to use the option to burn their "BDs to folder", and then use other burning software to burn the BD folder to BDs. At the price of BDs, you can't afford to make too many "coasters."

Perhaps Dafydd or one of the other pros have some other, better ideas.

Hope this helps a little. Have a great day.

I am using the" burn to file" feature and using Cyberlink Power Producer program that came with my Sony BluRay Burner to burn the BluRay disk and it is working like a top.
I was having some problems after I installed the latest patch and I am not sure that the patch caused the problem, but I did some minor tweaking and now everything is working good so far. I am burning to BD-RE so I don't waste the Bluray disks.
After some time I will revert back to the one write BluRay's after I am confident that all is well.
The Cyberlink Power Producer program that came with my Sony BluRay burner is a scaled down version but it does fine for me.
Just a note, I tried the Nero burn software and I was very disapointed with that program.

Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that I did try to" burn to disk" in the Cyberlink PD9 on the BD-RE disk and it did burn OK after I fixed the program, but I like to burn to file anyway.

This message is old, so I hope someone is still reading it...

I am having similar problems, so I thought I'd try to burn to a file first. But, using PowerDirector Ultra 9 on x64 Windows 7, I am not getting an option to burn to file. Is there something I'm missing to get this option to not be grayed out?

As a side note... I've burned directly to Blu-Ray before. I think my problem is related to the fact that the final image is very close (but still smaller) than the available space on the disk. When the image was larger, it wouldn't even start the burn. Now, having made the image just a little smaller, I don't get the warning, but instead , at 98% complete, I get:
Burning unsuccessful, Error code: e80D00002

Powerdirector has often had problems with the Disk burning module.

The way I solved the problems is to burn to a Folder, uncheck burn disk.

This creates the disk structure on your hard drive.

I use Nero Burning ROM 9 to burn the folder to actual Disk.
In Nero use the Bluray UDF profile and just copy the entire file structure in the Burn Folder that Powerdirector Created.

The correct folder to burn are the sub-folders of "My Video" do not drag "My Video" to the compilation window, just the folders in "My Video".

File structure for a Bluray disk.
