Any advice? I've done a clean install of Win7-64 Bit Ultimate (upgraded to a SSD), the installed in order the following:
1) CyberLink.PowerDirector9_Ultra64_VDE100917-03 (original download)
2) CyberLink.1519_contentPac_VDE100318-02 (original download)
3) CyberLink.Holiday_V3_1011_MTP101020-01 (original download)
4) CyberLink.2702_Patch_VDE110120-07 (new patch)

I then ran PD9 for the first time after installing the above and get the "your activation key is incorrect" (and I past it from my cyberlink account so it is 100% OK. Without trying stuff, any advice? eg:
1) Do I have to just install CyberLink.PowerDirector9_Ultra64_VDE100917-03 (original download), run it, enter the SN THEN install the other three,
2) Do I hve to install all the other patches
3) Some other process?

Thanks
Nathan

1) CyberLink.PowerDirector9_Ultra64_VDE100917-03 (original download)

That's a pre-release (between beta test and release) build.
I should stress this was probably released.
You will not be able to update with that build.

I logged a job but in while waiting for a response I found the following worked (after uninstalling PD9), Installed:
1) CyberLink.PowerDirector9_Ultra64_VDE100917-03 (original download)
2) Run PD9 - enter SN - all fine
3) CyberLink.2702_Patch_VDE110120-07 (new patch) PD 64 Bit-Win10 64 Bit-32GB RAM-80TB HDD

Dafydd,
I also have that release of PD9 (VDE100917-03) - that was the official download I received with my key. The problem being experienced (IMO) was entirely due to the order in which jmone carried out the install. Are you saying that with later verions of the "Base PD9" it is possible to install everything (including patches?) BEFORE entering the key?

My experience (and having read some of HEDIT's input, his too) is that you MUST enter the registration key BEFORE applying any updates/patches.

I would appreciate clarification and maybe we need a sticky clarifying the process of installation and updates?

Best,
