I am using 1920X1080i 25 frame m2ts video edited onto DVD using AVCHD. If you add an advanced video clip to the menu the following happens on replay :-

a) Starts in 1080i 25 (first video clip)

b) Switches to 1080p 24 drop frame for menus and chapters !!

c) Switches back to 1080i 25 for main video

d) Goes between b) and c) for every chapter selection.

The BD player and TV produce banners showing the standards changes making the system unusable for 1080i 25. Examination of the files shows that the menus are indeed produced in the wrong standard.

Forcing the menu system to the correct standard by using 1080i 25 background video does not work. It just converts it to 24p drop frame.

How do you set up the menu system so that PowerDirector can be used for Europe?

Thanks in advance.

Russell
