Hi,

New PD9 user here, still in evaluation mode. My major question: I uploaded one video to Vimeo. It plays fine but the initial (static) image of the video is scrunched horizontally. I find I cannot set all the preferences in PD9 as Vimeo wants them. Some seem automatic and preset. Here are Vimeo's preferences: http://vimeo.com/help/compression

In short, what are the best settings in PD9 to upload to Vimeo?

Thanks.

Mark, this is very helpful. Not sure if it will solve the problem I had (horizontally scrunched display image - the still that represents the video) but it did show me the default is apparently the NTSC video format rather than PAL, as I went through the rest of the preferences.

It does seem to me that the CL tutorial videos could be a lot better. The ones they have are good, but they skip over a lot. It's the expert syndrome in action, I suppose.
