Convert a stereo video to a mono with PD9 or WaveEditor?

Hi,

I have made a video clip using a camera who had XLR mic in. Unfortunately, I recorded only on the right side of the stereo tracks (had one mic only). When captured and edited the video, can only hear the sound from the right side speaker.

I imported the sound track in WaveEditor* but could not find how to merge into a mono track. Also look at changing setting when producing the video, but again could not find how to convert into mono (while keeping the high quality video). All the choices in audio were stereo only in the drop down menu.

Again, many thanks for your help and consideration.

There is an option in produce tab (audio only) to save as windows audio mono. This will create a mono track in both channels.

Alternatively in Wave editor you can copy one channel and paste it in the other then save.
