A LOGO needs to appear as GIF without any background - meaning without any white or black background - .... is there anyone out there having a tipp....? how to do that.

Have you got Open Office installed? I do a lot of graphic work with it using the Draw module (it is a suite) and export as Windows Meta File (wmf). The background in a wmf file is transparent. Can you re-draw your logo in OOo?

You can create an alpha-blending PNG in the Photoshop or any other image application that can create PNG, and then can import a PNG in the Title Designer of PowerDirector
