TimeCode and Metadata from my Panasonic HDV-SD9

Hello,
I edit files AVCHD (.mt2s from HDV-SD9) in PowerDirector v9, but i don't see the video original date (date code).

How can i do this because the only date i get is the date of the file creation or the last modification date (not useful for me) ?

With the HD Writer from Panasonic, i see this metadata, but in powerdirector not ?

Can you help me ?

Hi Tiraille24,

PD shows creation time date thus if you use the .m2ts files created by HDWriter it will show that (as the programme creates a new file & changes the extension etc)

If you use the raw .MTS files from the camera by drop and drag they should retain the original creation date (my SD9 behaves this way) Panasonic SD9, Panasonic TM700, Panasonic SD600, GoPro HD Hero.

unfortunately not, PD shows me creation date of the file and not the original date of my scene.

And I lost my HD Writer CD-ROM, and i didn't burn an iso file of HD writer.

Interesting - your data must behave differently. In the two snapshots you can see the file was shot on 25th, drop and dragged to my desktop today, and PD recognises it as being shot on 25th Dec: the info you are after.
