DVD -burning with image folder-added

Hi,
Back again (I have too much time on my hands)LOL.
I would like to know the procedure for adding a "Image" folder to a DVD video disk?
What I am after is 'I have a video produced and 'Create disc' to folder option, now I have only consumed half of the space on the DVD, so I got the friend to e-mail me her favorite 'picture of the boy' through to age four, and would like to archive them on the DVD in a separate folder called images so as at a future time she may access just the images using a PC (in case of damage to originals).
