Saving tracks layout
[Post New]
Hello all,

I'm working with PD9 Ultra 64, v2330.
I have the track layout edited: the video/audio tracks I use stretched to higher tracks and I the ones I don't use shrinked to as low as possible.

But everytime I restart PD, the tracks are in the default height and I don't see any option to save my personal layout.
Is there any way to do this?

Thnx in advance Massive.

Hi Henrik,

What I do is
I save my "personal interface" as an empty .pds file.
I then copy/paste the file in a folder and make sure there's always one available.
To my knowledge as of today,
there is no way to save the interface other than the default.
An idea to have choices for it in preferences....
Just something.

Well, actually that doesn't work for me.
I set the heights as I would like, saved the "project" as template.psd, but when I open it all the tracks are set back to the default height. Massive.

Henrik,

I probably could have been clearer;

when you have PD open, then you open your
saved "interface.psd". This file will then have
your layout you chose to have.
I just have a picture in timeline, and I remove that
when starting a new project.

Just something.

Thanx Nina for your help, but it just doesn't work for me..
I set my preferred track heights, put an image on the timeline and saved it.

Restarted PD, opened the psd I just saved and all the tracks are back to default.

Maybe you are talking about extra tracks you added or something? I'm just talking about saving the heights of the default tracks.. Massive.

You are right.
Once you close a project and re-open,
the trackhight is back to default.

ah,well....
Just something.
