Ghost clips

I was moving some things around with cut and paste, and now I seem to have "ghost" clips that interfere with the "real" clips.

At this point, only track 1 has anything in it. In the attached image "Ghost", you can see that the scrubber is positioned in an empty part of the track; but you can also see in the preview window that PD thinks there's a clip there. Both the video and audio of this ghost clip will play. (There are actually several layers of ghosts.)

In the attached image "Ghost2", you can see that the scrubber is positioned at the start of clip "2010-07-24 13 33 02.AVI", but the preview window does not match the clip's thumbnail. PD has that clip confused with another one.

I'm not sure how to duplicate this mess. Worse yet, I can't figure out how to fix it.

Closing the project and re-opening it made the problem go away. Jerry Schwartz

PD does a great deal of background video and audio processing in the background that you do not actually see. It is also noted to be a tad untidy sometimes in its house keeping. Re-loading the project eliminates the left overs. Win 10, i7
