[I should have put this on the other thread, I suppose.]

I didn't have any trouble with the original installation, nor in general have I had this problem, but Norton broke the patch by quarantining "forwardcdkey.dll". I told Norton to ignore that file, and had to "unblock" the patch executable.

That's a Win7 thing, I think. When you try to run the file, you get the properties instead. There's an "unblock" button there.

I think that if they sign the DLL, Norton won't get so excited.

Something in the file triggered NAV's heuristics. I've flagged it as "trusted" in Norton's community database, so the problem might solve itself. Jerry Schwartz
