I think that certain options should be more readily accessible on the edit room screen. I'm going to start a wish list here, and I encourage others to add to it.

  • The destination directory for a snapshot should be selectable at the time you save the file.

  • Link/unlink all tracks should be something you can turn on and off with a checkbox.

  • There should be three-state transition type selector: overlay, crossover, ask each time.

    to remind you that quite many of us spent the entire
    summer beta-testing- and our "wish list" was very long
    by September/October.

    I'm sure it was, but it isn't visible to peons like me. That makes it pretty hard to avoid redundancy.

    At the risk of a spanking, I have another suggestion along the same lines:

    The type of transition could be controlled by whether you click-drag or control-click-drag. Jerry Schwartz
