Hi, Using a trial version just now but will be purchasing 9 shortly. I have a lot of clips which should be linked so that I can move them en block so to speak...can't see anyway of linking clips though..can I do this ?

Secondly, Can I use the 64 bit version on a 32 bit machine....I shall be moving to 64 bit next year but would rather buy one version rather than have to upgrade later...

Had an email saying that you can use 64 bit ultra on a 32 bit machine.

And I've sorted the linking clips...bit silly of me really..you just click on the first clip then holding down the shift key click on the last clip then they all move together as one..standard windows really...its my age Al

That's very unlikely. What probably happens is that the program installs the 32-bit version on a 32-bit OS, and the 64-bit version on a 64-bit OS. Jerry Schwartz

Hi Al,

You can indeed. There's plenty of other new features in Ultra (compared to Deluxe) to justify the purchase, too. Of course, once you move to your new 64-bit machine/OS in 2011, you can take advantage of the extra memory (Windows 32-bit can only access 4GB in total), essential for video editing.

Now I'm confused....its not unusual state for me though.. Al
