PDS Broken (by me) due to images relocated to new drive
[Post New]
I moved all my images to a new drive letter. (was D:, now E

I tried to edit my PDS files with Textpad (tried saving it a bunch of different ways (PC, No Changes, UNIX) after the edits.
Any attempts to open the files in PD9 give the attached error.

Download NoteTab Light. Save without changing the format and it should work. __________________________________

Thanks Jaime;

Thanks for the tip on that text editor...man that is a full-scale product!!!!

What I discovered,was a solution inside the program that works fairly painlessly for correcting what I have done.

When I open a project and it gives me an error that it can't find the file, I just browse to the location on the new drive ( E: ) for that first file. PD9 then changes the drive letter of all subsequent entries correctly and finds the files.

Yes...Yes...the program TRIED to tell me it would find the files...but NOOO!! I was too stubborn to click "BROWSE" and tried instead to find the solution to how they built the Pyramids while standing on one foot.

Once I followed the prompts...all went well..

Glad it worked. I thought you were not getting that message for some reason. __________________________________
