FYI, under Create Disc --> Disc Preferences --> Blu Ray --> Select Video Encoding format and quality, you can select the Video Encoding format (eg MPEG-2 or H.264) and the "Quality" but they are poorly marked as to the difference for the three HD1920x1080. From what I can see from the results of using the three profiles (and the BD Spec) they are as follows for H.264:
* HD 1920x1080 : Interlaced (for me 25fps) at around 16Mbps for the video stream
* HD 1920x1080p : Progressive 23.976fps at around 16Mbps for the video stream
* HD 1920x1080 (24Mbits) : Interlaced (for me 25fps) at around 22Mbps for the video stream

Thanks

Hi Nathan .....it isn't very clear is it? Thanks for posting the details of the profiles.

Have you also explored the Add Custom profile button? You can then create some custom profiles and then use a name that describes the seetings in more detail under the Profile name description.

Thanks Kevin, I had found the "Produce" Custom Profiles also the way to manually hack the ini file to bump up the specs to support smart rendering of the AVC 1080/50p clips from the Pana cams ( http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/14176.page ) , however I have not found where the details of the profiles for "Create Disc" are stored, described or if they are also editable.
