Audio Missing from final dvd

Hi,

I was using version 8 ultra and I could burn a DVD and the audio worked fine, after upgrading to version 9 ultra in the "edit" mode the audio play with the video in the sample video window but when I go to burn a dvd or preview the final dvd the audio track does not play. Have others experienced the audio not working in the final dvds they create with this new version? Very frustrating.

I have heard of it once. I think the guy changed the audio selection in Create Disc and reported that it helped. Might be worth a try.

Was your audio track using the integrated SMARTSOUND within Power Director 9? If it is, this was recently reported as being a problem. The audio was missing in the PREVIEW of the CREATE DISC module and the audio failed to burn to disc and failed in burning to folder.

Yeah, that is the exact problem Kevin. The problem is with the included Smartsound audio tracks. I'll try using my own audio files and see if that resolves it until they fix the Smartsound bug.

If you are monitoring this thread....I installed PD9 build 2215.....and the prblem existed then as well.

Just thought I would check.

Yes, yes....it is true! I still can't get Smartsound clip to preview in Disc Prefrences! I can import my own music clips from my media pool and they preview and record. Are we there yet?
