Wave Editor not really part of PowerDirector

Okay, so I gave the wave editor a try and I'm already disappointed.

  • The fairly common shortcut of using the space bar to start and stop playback is missing.

  • You are working blind. This program is completely independent of PowerDirector, so you can't see how your edits will affect your movie. That makes PowerDirector's problems with audio editing even more critical.


  • I guess I expected the two programs to be integrated. Jerry Schwartz

    I have just installed director 9 after some extensive trials and am quite impressed. however the wave editor is in my opinion the least impressive. Maybe its because I am use to the wave editor in Nero 9 suite. If you have access to this then I recommend it. I find it more comprehensive. The Cyberlink wave editor is OK for a quick single track edit but hasnt the depth of the Nero one.
    I like power director 9 though although the download was unbelievably slow.
