Hi,
I noticed that PowerDirector9 is released. What I am interested in is the benefits to upgrade. On the coomparison link on the Cyberlink page it doesn't have a comparison (i didn't notice one) to PowerDirector 8 Ultra-the only benefit I could see was for people that run a 64bit Windows system. Also there is no Great discount for upgrading from PowerDirector 8 Ultra.

This comparison lists PD8 ultra, is that what you are referring to

http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector/compare_en_US.html

$US 59.95 upgrade from PD7/8 retail to PD9 ultra
$US 99.95 for full PD9 ultra

Looks like a good discount.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the fast reply..but the upgrade doesn't refer to a download version just retail. I just upgraded to PD8 Ultra a few months ago and now PD9 Ultra out!
The I don't run a 64bit version of Windows 7.

If the download version was from CL, it is a retail version. Non retail versions are usually oem offers, like the PD product that came with your burner, camera, computer, ... and so on.
