Audio Gets Echo-ey on Burning

I've tried the search function and couldn't find anything on this topic, so forgive me if this has been addressed before.

The audio on all my films sounds fine in the editing room, but once I burn it to disc the audio sounds like it's being played in a big room. It has a tinge of echo to it and the treble seems to have been kicked up. It's almost like it's been roto-scoped.

In addition, and I don't know if this is related, the volumn kicks up just before a change from one scene to the other, and then stays kicked up for a short time (fraction of a second) after the scene change.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks.

Jeff,
Sounds really strange.

Please supply some more info as asked for below - the three basics.

Thank you Dafydd. My apologies for not supplying this info originally.

Part A: v8.00.2704

Parts B and F are attached.

There is an update available, so I'll try that and see if I get the same results.

Thank you for your time.
