When I burn a project to disk a "follow the dots" type screen with terrible music preempts my menus and music. I cannot see how to delete this from the beginning of the DVD.

Choose "No Menu" in the Create Disk Module. Or choose another menu. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

You can remove the preselected menu music and change the menu music.

See the attached image, notice the RED hi-lighted section. I have pointed out where the menu background music is applied. You can delete the default music and then add your own.

I do have the same bad expirience. I used the menue 9, deleated the original music, but it constantly started with some undesired sound-parts before it changed to my music.
Finally I burnt the DVD without menue as I was in a hurry. How to get rid of this failure at the beginning?

Depends on the menu template you choose.

Every menu template has its own effects and music.

You have to play with the various templates to see what each does.

You can create your own Template and put exactly what you want in the menu, (PD8 does not do text only menus). Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Thanks! It just worked with a downloaded menue called "bench" perfectly. I created once my own, but something went wrong and I have lost it. Next time I´ll try again.
