PowerDVD 8 - No sound on DVD playback

I installed the LG OEM version of PowerDVD 8 which came with the LG DVD writer I purchased.

The DVD plays fine in PowerDVD, but there is NO sound. I have checked all the options like mute, audio track, etc. but still NO sound. My speakers and sound card work 100% on other applications. Windows 7.

Good. To get audio kindly upgrade/purchase Dolby digital pack for Power DVD 8 seperately by a click on upgrade and then the listed item in the upgrade pop-up window. After Ordering you will get the key for the pack ordered. Copy the key in the activation procedure. Then you will hear the audio.

This is some kind of joke?

What DVD's does not use Dolby?
But no problem. I have downloaded something else, for free, that can play DVD's and have working audio.
