How can you create a final image?
[Post New]
I have a video finished and wanted to find out if there was a way to make a final frame?

When the video finishes, it just goes to a blank frame, even though I set a final image at the end. Is there a way for the final image to remain the final image when it finishes, instead of popping up a blank page?

Thanks for the help,
Sean -

Hi Sean,

You would have to manually pause the video yourself on the final frame to have a final image be displayed for an extended period of time. When the video is playing back it doesn't stop on the last frame. It "plays through" the final frame and goes back to the start.

You could move the scrubber bar to the last frame of your video, then right-click the video clip on the last frame is located and select FREEZE FRAME. This will create a picture that will be placed on the timeline. If you haven't changed your default preference settings...the picture will be 5 seconds in duration...you can then lengthen it to suit your needs. And it will also place a title track on the TITLE TRACK and a SEPIA effect on the EFFECTS TRACK. Delete those from the tracks if you don't need them.

Would that be a suitable work a round? You could make that last frame as long as you need it...within certain limits of course. Then produce your project to a video file and it will display that last frame for a longer period of time.

Regards,

Kevin
