Once you have split the audio from a clip, can you put it back again? Also, what does "Reset Alias" mean?

You cannot put the audio back without producing the project.
You put the split audio in the Music track, then produce the project.

When you produce, all of the parts in the Timeline are combined into one file.

Reset Alias means, to reset the name of the video back to the original name if you have given the video an Alias (another name).

Correct a statement I made.

You can reload the original file, and the audio will still be in the original file.

When you extract audio, the audio is copied to a wav file. But the original file is unchanged.

All of the actions in Powerdirector do not affect the original files.
