PowerDVD 9 ultra stopped working with Win 7

In the last few days PowerDVD 9 Ultra (version 9.0.2528.51) has stopped working. The error message comes up once PowerDVD is asking where to start the DVD. Windows gives a message saying it is closing the application down:

I cant help, but I too have an issue since doing an update tonight i cannot watch from Windows 7 Media Centre, it sees a BD disc but the only options available from the Cyberlink Menu integrated within Win 7 MC is 'Eject' or 'Settings', to play a disc I now have to exit Win 7 MC and load up PowerDVD separately !!

I uninstalled PowerDVD and reinstalled my original PowerDVD 9 ultra download, without the updates. It now is working again, at least for the moment.

Hi Fred thanks for the idea will give it a go, sorry for the big jack of your thread btw!

Oddly it seems to be theatre mode that is the issue. Even when I run PDVD9 independently if inclick into theatre mode it's the same issue as above as if I were running it through Win 7 MC
